I’m 28, and I’ve been designing long enough to know what kind of designer I want to be: one who actually cares.
I started at ArtCenter College of Design in 2020, then the world locked down. Zoom school felt like shouting into a void, so I took a gap year to start my design internships, and remembered what actual rooms smelled like.
Graduated in 2023. Got excited about XR right as the Metaverse fizzled, but bad timing. Co-founded a startup with two friends from Berkeley, raised $300K, and a year in we made the hard call to shut it down.
The whole point, for me, is to make something that makes someone’s day a little better.
Now I design at Generation Lab and build AI-native side projects on weekends. Still curious. Still in love with the craft.
